Through this course, you can earn academic credit for an internship, whether paid or unpaid. Many for-profit organizations require students applying for unpaid internships to document that they will receive such credit. Detailed instructions and necessary forms can be found on the Wesleyan Career Center Web site, under "Jobs and Internships." The internship must include at least 40 hours of work. In addition to completing the internship satisfactorily, you will need to comply with the learning requirements and deadlines described in the instructions. |

You can enroll in CSPL 493 as soon as you apply for or are offered an internship. To enroll, you must e-mail the Director of Service-Learning, Prof. Winston (kwinston@wesleyan.edu), informing her when your internship will begin and giving her your WesID. She will submit the appropriate paperwork to the Registrar. Please note that if you do not complete the internship, it is your responsibility to drop the course. |
