Examinations and Assignments:
Weekly writing assignments, a research proposal, an oral presentation, peer workshops, engaged participation, and perfect attendance. By the end of fall semester, students will complete at least one chapter draft. Final thesis will be submitted April 19th by 4pm. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
This is a Permission of Instructor Course. In order to be accepted into this course you must meet the minimum requirements for honors and submit a research proposal for review by the Sociology Department by April 15th of your Junior year. Students will be informed of their acceptance into the course by May 1st. Note that all honors thesis students must take this year long seminar consisting SOC 405 in the Fall and SOC 406 in the Spring. In order to get credit for SOC405 you must also take SOC 406. |
