Examinations and Assignments:
There will be essay-format midterm and final. Each student will also present on one of the assigned readings for class and lead the class discussion on that reading. Participation in class discussion will also form part of the grade. There will be 1-3 assigned readings each week, in addition to readings from the textbook. |

Individuals requesting a POI should indicate in an email to the professor their intended major, list previous courses related to this course, and state why they would like to take this course. Preference will be given to PSYC and NSB majors (and intended majors) who have completed PSYC 105, NS&B 213, or an AP score of 4 or 5. |
