Intermediate Korean I is the first part of the intermediate course in spoken and written Korean. Various functions of more complex grammar patterns will be introduced in a variety of sociocultural contexts. Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate higher levels of balanced communicative skills in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. |

Examinations and Assignments: There will be vocabulary, lesson, and speaking assessments for each chapter in the textbook. There will also be writing and listening tests for both the midterm and final exam, along with workbook assignments throughout each chapter. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Attendance at a weekely TA session is required. Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of KREA 154, or consent of instructor (a placement test will be given) is required. |
