Daily Life in a Japanese City: Japanese Lab

This "lab" is conducted in Japanese and designed to deepen the understanding of early modern Japanese history gained in the standard English-language seminar, CEAS266, Daily Life in a Japanese City. The students will read a wide range of Japanese-language historical writing on the culture of everyday life in early modern Japan. All readings are in Japanese. Familiarity with classical/early-modern Japanese is desirable but not required.
