This is a FILM ANALYSIS CLASS with emphasis on viewing, discussing, and writing about films. Major works include films directed by Martin Scorsese. For example RAGING BULL; TAXI DRIVER; AFTER HOURS; GOODFELLAS; MEAN STREETS. Optional readings include CONVERSATIONS ON SCORSESE (Schickel) and SCORSESE ON SCORSESE (Thompson and Christie, eds.)
