Drawing on multiple approaches to dance techniques and the moving body, this course will build on the capacities developed in Modern Technique II. Students will be encouraged to cultivate greater awareness of space, time and energy, as well as a wider range of dynamic variation and more sophisticated understanding of kinetic alignment. |

Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Requirements for this studio course include regular attendance, promptness, and thoughtful participation in all aspects of the class. Completion of 4 short reading assignments along with 1 to 2 page response essays. Students will also be required to complete mid-semester and end of semester self evaluations and conferences with the instructor. |
