This new course related the Syrian Uprising started on March 15 in 2011, will show students how one can use photography produced in order to understand the social political factors in the creation of image language which I call a hope-lessness photology.
This course explores the trajectory of Uprising through popular demonstrations and protest slogans in photography as the sine qua non of a new revolutionary and artistic language in Syria since 2011 so far. Also this course will provide a survey of the principles aesthetic and political dimensions through the study of thematic photography based on several critical approaches. |
