The focus of the course will be studying films made by female filmmakers. We will analyze, discuss, and write on the films with special attention on mapping the cultural and social changes in Israeli society as well as changes in films' format and themes. Meeting with scholars as well as attending the Ring Family Wesleyan University Israeli Film Festival will provide cultural and social framework for the course. The course may be repeated for credit.
