CHEM 373
Fall 2021
Section: 01

The commercialization of plastics in the 20th century revolutionized our materials economy. In this course, we will examine the foundational principles of macromolecular chemistry, including polymer properties, synthesis, and characterization. Not only will we study the founding of polymer science, we'll look to the future and examine how we can design more sustainable materials. (This course will be offered by Dr. Benjamin Elling, who will be joining the department this summer.)
