This course is designed to help students gain fundamental video production skills, as they independently develop live performance projects. The course entails 30 hours of production workshop and performance time and is designed to give students a broad range of skills integral to capturing a live performance. Our workshops will be held over the first 7 weeks of the fall semester, and will cover image and sound capture, shotlisting, editing, and sound mixing. Students will then work independently on live performance projects and screen their work at the end of the semester. Those who are developing thesis and capstones projects are encouraged to apply. |
