This course is designed to introduce history majors to a range of problems, debates, and critical practices in the discipline of history. Part I explores the ethical and public dimensions of history; Part II focuses on key schools of historical thought; Part III examines historical interpretation and primary sources; and Part IV samples varieties of evidence. This course should be taken in the student's junior year. |
