Examinations and Assignments: : In-class writing exercises, draft and final version of a short story or nonfiction piece, peer review responses, 4 reading responses, and a piece that explains the principles that guide the student¿s literary writing (due the end of the semester).

Additional Requirements and/or Comments: : To take this course you must have taken at least SPAN 221 with a minimum of B-. This requirement can be waived for native speakers of Spanish on a case by case basis. Please consult with the professor.
