ASLD 201 and ASLD 202, Intermediate ASL I and II respectively, are the next ASL courses in a sequence beginning with Elementary ASL. You will expand your vocabulary and enhance your grammar while starting to get a basic understanding of the Deaf experience.
The course will be taught primarily in ASL and with clarifications in written English as needed. The course activities will provide you with ample opportunities to practice communication in ASL as much as possible. Because of the absence of a standardized written system for ASL, you will submit recorded videos in many assignments. |
