Intended for students generally interested in science who have little to no background in chemistry, this course would be appropriate as either a general-education science course or as a preparatory course for General Chemistry I. Topical coverage will include a broad survey of topics including (but not limited to): measurement, atomic theory, the mole concept, bonding, chemical reactions, equilibrium, solutions, and acid-base chemistry. |
