Generative AI -- LLM Tools for Data Analysis QAC 387 Spring 2026 Section: 01   The goal of this course is to educate students in the techniques of doing data analysis with the assistance of artificial intelligence. The course will cover the use of Generative AI -- Large Language Models (LLMs) and consider the ethical dimensions in the development of AI tools and their applications. Through hand-on exercises and a term project students will develop the understanding and the skills for development, application, and appropriate use of AI tools in data analysis to advance empirical research and evidence-based decision making. Additionally, students will complete a final course project and presentation and will be asked to provide brief oral progress reports on their project's development.
