This interdisciplinary course explores the politics of migration, refuge, exile, border, diaspora, and home from transnational feminist, queer diasporic, and trans of color perspectives. Our main themes include citizenship, memory, intimacy, belonging, movement, land, nationhood, and statehood. We will explore how sexuality is integral to each of these as processes and structures of power. |
