This course is the continuation of PORT 101, part of a year-long sequence of Portuguese. The second semester will further develop language skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) with increasing attention to oral proficiency and cultural topics. Music, poetry, short fiction, media, and journalism are integrated with the textbook to explore culture topics and current events. Students who plan to study abroad with Portuguese or wish to pursue further language study may petition to continue with a tutorial option. |
