In this course you will learn to apply physics to tackle real-world challenges under our feet. You will learn the theory and application of near surface geophysical methods including ground penetrating radar, GPS surveying, electrical resistivity, magnetics, and seismology. Applications will focus on societally relevant questions with a focus on the environment but also touch on broader applications in archeology, engineering, geology, and planetary science. |
