Areas to be covered in this course include lighting design and execution, stage management, costume and scene design, and set construction. Practical experience in the department's production season is an important part of the course.

All students will complete fifteen hours of pre-production work in the theater and serve as crew for one Dance Department production. Stage managing a dance department major production is required.

This course is an introduction to Dance production intended for Dance majors. It is to be taken concurrently with the first semester of Dance Composition.
