Elementary Italian II

This course is the second half of the two-semester elementary sequence (101 and 102). The emphasis is on the development and refinement of basic oral and written competence and reading and aural comprehension skills. Linguistic skills are developed through oral, written, aural and reading activities, which lead from structured to free expression and challenge students' creative skills. Class is conducted entirely in Italian.

Essential Capabilities: Intercultural Literacy, Speaking
This course offers students a variety of opportunities to develop their ability to speak and understand Italian, while exploring similarities and differences between their native culture and the Italian world.
