Javanese Gamelan--Beginners MUSC 451 Spring 2015 Section: 01   Certificates: South Asia Studies Instruction in the performance of orchestral music of central Java. Various levels of difficulty are represented in the playing techniques of different instruments, mainly tuned gongs and metallophones. Previous formal music instruction is not necessary.
