This course, the continuation of SPAN101, further develops basic language skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking). The course incorporates readings and media from a variety of sources, allowing students to explore the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.

Frequent written and oral assignments and evaluations. Mandatory daily attendance to class.Three classroom periods with instructor per week plus one with TA (to be scheduled in class.) SPAN102 is intended for students who have completed SPAN101. Students who have not done so should consult with the professor before pre-registering.
