Second semester of ampersand Intermediate SPAN111 & 112.
With cultural issues continuing to be the backdrop, this course leads students through a review and in-depth examination of Spanish grammar and vocabulary, while at the same time providing them with the experience of working with written texts and media materials. Students will explore an array of cultural issues relevant to the Spanish-speaking world. Assignments will be both written and oral. |

This course offers constant opportunities to develop the ability to speak Spanish in a variety of meaningful contexts.
Students will compare cultural practices, products, and values in the Spanish-speaking world with those in their own culture.

Additional Requirements and/or Comments:
Three hours a week with instructor and one hour in smaller groups for conversation. This course is intended for students who have placed into SPAN112 through the Wesleyan Online placement test in the fall or have an AP score of 4, or have completed SPAN111. Enrollment for Juniors and Seniors is contingent upon availability of space during drop/add. |
