With cultural issues continuing to serve as a backdrop, this course leads students through a review and in-depth examination of advanced Spanish grammar issues and vocabulary expansion, while providing the experience of working with written texts and other media materials. Students will explore an array of cultural topics relevant to the Spanish-speaking world. Assignments will be both written and oral.
Intercultural Literacy, Speaking
This course offers constant opportunities to develop the ability to speak Spanish in a variety of meaningful contexts.
Students will compare cultural practices, products, and values in the Spanish-speaking world with those in their own culture.

To enroll in this course, students must have placed into SPAN112 through the Wesleyan Online placement test in the fall, or have an AP score of 4, or have successfully completed SPAN111.
