A practical study of the techniques and skills involved in the conducting of selected instrumental and vocal scores. Analysis, interpretation, and performance will be stressed.
Designing, Creating, and Realizing
The course teaches students primarily to discuss and analyze music and then translate into the act of conducting.

Students must be able to sight-read music exceptionally well and have some minimal technical pianistic skills. This course is only offered to Music majors. Auditions will take place at the first class.
