This is a basic elementary-level ballet class. Ballet terminology and stylistic concepts will be introduced with a strong emphasis on correct alignment. Selected readings required. |

Examinations and Assignments: Short papers on selected topics and films. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Some previous dance training required. May be repeated for credit. Prior dance experience in Intro, Modern, Jazz or the equivalent is necessary for Ballet I. Permission into this course must be requested - speak with Professor Beaman in Dance Department on Tuesdays/Thursdays.
Undergraduates may take this course up to two times for a letter grade and up to four times for credit towards graduation. |
