This course may be repeated for credit.

This is an intermediate-level course. Strong emphasis on correct alignment and the development of dynamics and stylistic qualities will be prominent while students learn combinations.

Essential Capabilities: Designing, Creating, and Realizing, Interpretation
As in Ballet I, ┐Interpretation┐ is a key capability in this course. Since students in Ballet II are already familiar with its basic history, each semester I pick an era of ballet, which we then study closely.
