This is an intermediate-level course. Strong emphasis on correct alignment and the development of dynamics and stylistic qualities will be prominent while students learn combinations.

Essential Capabilities: Designing, Creating, and Realizing, Interpretation
InterpretationAs in Ballet I, "Interpretation" is a key capability in this course. Since students in Ballet II are already familiar with the basic history of the tradition, each semester we study closely an era of ballet to further investigate of its history and culture. This is undertaken by examining visual and print media, as well as by learning the movement language of ballet at an advanced level.
