Compositions and/or exercises are presented orally or in notation. Through practice, students master the assignments from one lesson to the next.

Examinations and Assignments: Daily practice of lessons, memorization of technical exercises and rhythmic compositions. In class final exam will test performance skills. |
Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Prerequisites: MUSC110 AND MUSC212 Strict attendance is compulsory. Admission by interview. Preference will be given to continuing students, then to music department graduate students and music majors, particularly those specializing in percussion. Undergraduates may take this course up to two times for a letter grade and up to four times for credit towards graduation.
Students should meet in Music Studios 202 with the instructor and determine class time. Please email the instructor with questions. |
