Topics in Philosophy of Mind

This course will explore recent discussions in philosophy of mind. Topics will change from year to year. Past and planned topics include: mental representation, consciousness and naturalization, concepts, mental causation, and the relation between mind and metaphysics. This course is intended for advanced majors in philosophy and the sciences of cognition. Students should take either PHIL286 or PHIL289 prior to this course.
