Junior Colloquium: The Vietnam Saga AMST 199 Spring 2008 not offered This seminar in the study of politics and popular culture focuses on American understandings of the Vietnam war. Among others: Herr, DISPATCHES; Sheehan, BRIGHT, SHINING LIE; Stone, DOG SOLDIERS, Coppola, APOCALYPSE NOW; Stone, PLATOON Examinations and Assignments: Several short essays and a 15-20 pp. research paper.
