Techniques in Ocean and Climate Investigations

There will be weekly and biweekly field trips, computer and/or laboratory exercises that will allow us to see how climate and oceans function today and in the past. In addition to our data, we will most likely use the Goddard Institute for Space Studies climate model to test climate questions and data from major core (ocean, lake and ice) repositories to investigate how oceans and climate function and have changed.
