The course is designed to expose students to key theory and research in organizational psychology and the application of key concepts to real-world settings. Individual, group and organization-wide perspectives will be considered. Topics considered are individual differences, motivation, attitudes, leadership, groups & teams, and organizational climate & culture. Course objectives include: Becoming familiar with topic areas and methods used in organizational psychology; Understanding major concepts and theories; Applying concepts and theory to real-world situations; Evaluating and developing solutions to organizational problems by integrating key concepts and theory.
