Intermediate Nonfiction Workshop ENGL 157 Fall 2008 not offered This is a workshop for students with some prior interest in and understanding of writing creative nonfiction. We will focus on the act of reading and consider what that experience, as well as questions of style, both of which are often seen as private, have to do with arenas such as power, violence, and history, often seen as public. Essays, readings, and writing assignments include reportage, textual criticism, humor, and memoir.
