History of Electronic Sound MUSC 127 Spring 2013 not offered This course surveys the cultural history of electronic sound production, storage, amplification, and transmission in the 20th century. We will examine the contributions of artists, scientists, and designers to modern cultures of listening and sound making. In addition to readings, recordings, and films, students will perform selected works for electronic instruments by John Cage and other composers.
