Advanced Korean II|
Advanced Korean II is the second half of the advanced course in spoken and written Korean. In addition to the textbook, selected readings from news articles and short stories from modern Korean literature will be introduced to help students develop their writing skills and a higher level of reading comprehension. Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate an advanced level of balanced communicative skills in speaking, reading, writing, and listening.

|Examinations and Assignments: |
There will be vocabulary, grammar, and speaking assessments for each chapter in the textbook. There will also be a writing and listening test for both the midterm and final exams, along with workbook assignments and recording assignments throughout each chapter.

Attendance at a weekly TA session is required. Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of KREA 217-01, or consent of instructor (a placement test will be given) is required. The Professor and enrolled students will find a mutually convienent meeting time just prior to the first day of class. The instructor for this course may change.
