Students will be asked to share weekly media examples which help show how the upcoming class topics have been and/or are currently being represented. Students will be expected to write several short pieces and a paper offering a narrative analysis of a public issue (around 10 pages) -- and develop a social impact campaign as the final project.

The instructor is the Koeppel Fellow, Spring 2018, who was the former President of MTV (2008-2015) and is a Peabody and Emmy award winning creator of multiple social impact campaigns.
